The Salon Inspector Seal

Salon Inspector’s members are inspected unannounced several times per year. Our members go above and beyond industry standards to provide their clientele with safe service in a safe environment. 

Only once a member has passed our inspection we reward their efforts by placing our membership sticker with the Salon Inspector Seal on their door. Just like the "A" you see in restaurants, the SI Seal indicates our client’s high level of compliance with current rules and regulations and industry best practices.

Salon Inspector salons, spas and barbershops are leaders in the beauty industry. The Salon Inspector Membership is a voluntary program. Our members always stay informed of changes in regulation and obey by the standards listed below:

	Comply with regulations of the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology
	Promptly and adequately respond to unsatisfactory results of Salon Inspector evaluations
	Diligently remediate violations identified by SI inspectors and/or State inspectors
	Comply with OSHA requirements (if applicable)
	Promptly and adequately respond to customer complaints
	Train and educate staff on the industry's best practices and Board's rules and regulations
