Salon Inspector is an independent consulting company, providing inspection and education services to California’s Beauty Industry Professionals.

Our company provides independent, unbiased assessments of a salon’s adherence to prevailing laws and regulations. We offer a unique independent control system to responsible salon, barbershop and spa owners that creates awareness of rules, regulations and best practice in the industry and minimizes compliance failures, while creating good habits of personnel.

Salon Inspector, LLC has no affiliation with the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, and we do not issue fines. We work directly with the licensees that value professionalism and always keep on top of their business.

We offer educational classes for owners and staff, our friendly inspectors perform “mock inspections” to evaluate the client’s business and Salon Inspector provides expert advice for mitigating and monitoring possible risks.

Our clients go above and beyond industry standards to keep their customer safe at their establishment.

California does not require continuous education in form of mandatory classes. It lies in our own hands as beauty professionals to keep up to date with the rules of the Board and to protect ourselves and our clients.
