Salon Inspector is a consulting company, providing inspection services to the beauty industry and a platform where concerned consumers can find beauty professionals willing to ensure utmost customer safety and protection.
We offer an independent control system to responsible salon and spa owners that creates awareness of rules, regulations and best practice in the industry and minimizes compliance failures, while creating good habits of personnel.
Our Salon Inspectors visit our members unannounced several times per year depending on their membership level. Salon Inspector then sends a written report informing the business owner about possible compliance failures.
If problems are found, the Salon Inspector report also provides solutions, assisting with compliance in the future.
Salon Inspector provides independent, unbiased assessment of a salon’s adherence to prevailing laws and regulations.
Salons and Spas participating in a Salon Inspector Membership Program are committed to the highest standards in the industry.
Each salon that participates in a Salon Inspector Membership Program will use their best efforts to abide by the following guidelines:
•Comply with all regulations of the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
•Fully cooperate with SI inspectors during inspections.
•Promptly and adequately respond to customer complaints
•Promptly and adequately respond to unsatisfactory results of Salon Inspector evaluations.
•Diligently remediate violations identified by SI inspectors and/or State inspectors.
•Train and educate staff on the industry’s best practices.
